A woman in Malibu Hills, California, is building a home with 4.5 milliion parts from a Boeing 747, according to Treehugger’s Jerry James Stone. Her architect will incorporate the plane (230 feet in length and 63 feet in height) into the house on 55 acres. Nicknamed the “Wing House” for the 125-foot-long wings mounted on the roof, the building will also feature the first-class cabin as a guesthouse, the cockpit as a meditation center, and the cargo hold as an animal barn.
