Sir Richard Branson’s space company announced that Virgin Galactic’s space ship tourism vehicle, SpaceShip Two, completed phase-one testing of the rocket’s motor. Glenn Pew from AVWeb says the flight test program is expected to begin later this year.
If you’re ready to get in line (about 300 people have already placed deposits of $40 million), the first of the 6 minute flights will hopefully begin prior to 2011.
